RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that:
a. The application for the rezoning of Remainder erf 7724 Durbanville from Open Space Zone 2: Public Open Space (OS2) to Single Residential Zoning 1: Conventional Housing (SR1) BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 (as amended), subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. The application for the subdivision of Remainder erf 7742 into two portions bE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 (as amended), subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons as set out in the planner’s report, except reason 7.1.2 which is amended as follows:
7.1.2. The proposed development is compliant with Policy by promoting densities at appropriate locations; optimal utilization of land and services and the provision of a range of house options near work opportunities.
