Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for amendment of conditions in respect of an existing approval granted or deemed to be granted in terms of the Municipal Planning By-Law, in respect of Erf 580RE Pinelands, as set out in Annexure A BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2019.

b. The application for departures in terms of the Development Management Scheme, as set out in Annexure A, on Erf 580RE Pinelands BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law 2019, in accordance with the plan indicated in Annexure C.

c. The application for City’s approval to permit additions and alterations within a Heritage Protection Overlay Zone BE APPROVED.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend reason 7.8 as follows:

7.8 The proposed changes will result in a development that will align the development to the previously approved building plan, even if in a slightly amended form
