UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
The application for City’s approval to permit building work within a HPOZ in terms of the Development Management Scheme on Erf 1668 Oranjezicht, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law 2015, as set out in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report
Amend Annexure A as follows:
1.1 Item 162(1): To permit building work (proposed new bedroom & bathroom, study, balcony, pergola and planters) within a Heritage Protection Overlay Zone to be generally in accordance with drawings attached in Annexure C
Add new condition:
That the proposed additions are to be painted to match the existing dwelling
