An administrative penalty in the amount of R 15 000.00 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 1735, Sea Point East, Cape Town
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report
Amend reason 3 as follows:
The gravity of the unauthorised building work is moderately serious since the unlawful building work was erected without City approval in terms of the Municipal Planning By-Law and National Building Regulations and Standards Act. The additions are within a HPOZ which implies potential impacts on the existing heritage resource.
