RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that:
That an administrative penalty in the amount of R1000 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of the unauthorised building work on Erf 3239 at Pelikan Park, in relation to the unauthorised building work shown on the plans drawn by M Essop with drawing no. 3239/1, dated 25/11/19.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report, except reason 6.4 which is amended as follows:
6.4 The conduct of the person involved in the contravention does not appear to have been entirely honest and this warrants an increase in the penalty amount
