RESOLVED that:
The application for rezoning, departures and city approval, as set out in Annexure A, for Erf 11092 Woodstock, Albert Road BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A1 and the Site Development Plan in Annexure 2

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to replace reason 12 (xii) with the following:

In order to advance the concept of affordable housing the applicant has limited the extent of the units to between 28m2 and 43m2 with most units measuring less than 30m2. Furthermore, in relation to the application, consideration has been given to the development principles contained in both National (SPLUMA) and Provincial (LUPA) legislation

Add note: The Tribunal noted that there are numerous public sector social housing initiatives being undertaken in the Woodstock-Salt River area

Amend Annexure A:
2.3 The development (proposed additions) shall be substantially in accordance with the Site Development Plan attached as Annexure 2 (folio 15 – 28)
