Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for the Permanent Departure for the relaxation of the 3.0m common building line (adjacent to Erf 24862) to 0m in accordance with Drawing No 2018-034, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. The application for the Permanent Departure for the relaxation of the 3.0m common building line (adjacent to Erf 24860) to 0m in accordance with Drawing No 2018-034, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

c. The application for the Permanent Departure for the relaxation of the 3.0m common building line (adjacent to Erf 24840) to 0m in accordance with Drawing No 2018-034, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and add:
- The proposal complies with Section 99(1) (that the admin penalty was paid), Section 99(2) and 99(3)
- All concerns by objectors have been satisfactorily addressed

Amend Annexure A:
2.6 That a complete detailed fire protection plan shall be submitted as part of the building plan submission for scrutiny and approval. The plans shall clearly indicate the fire protection measures as per SANS 10400-T:2011, or as updated from time to time, regarding fire extinguishers, fire-fighting hose reels, fire hydrants, booster connections, escape doors/routes, smoke control, etcetera.
