UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for the rezoning of Rem. Erf 3738, 3 Kyle Street, Strand, from Single Residential Zone 1 to General Business Zone 2, in order to permit a mixed use development comprising of a coffee shop, shop, office, dwelling and second dwelling, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A hereto;
b. The application for a permanent departure on Rem. Erf 3738, 3 Kyle Street, Strand, to permit on-site parking within 10m from the Kyle Street erf boundary, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A hereto.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
