Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
The application for rezoning in terms of Section 42{a) of the City of Cape Town, Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 from General Business subzone GB 1 to General Industrial subzone GI in order to permit a plastic packaging plant to operate from a portion of Erf 13838, Cwango Street, Philippi BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)iii of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to conditions as contained in Annexure A.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reason set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add:

7.1.6 The application complies with Section 91(i), (ii) and (iii) of the MPBL

Annexure A:
Amend 2.1.2 bullet point 3 as follows:
Boundary wall and treatment and screening to mitigate the visual impact and wind-blown litter

Correct error in numbering sequence in Annexure A.
