RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the application for consolidation of Remainder Erven 47204 and 47214, and Erven 47205, 47206, 47207, 47209 and 47252 Cape Town at Rondebosch, as per the plan of consolidation LUM/00/47204 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. That the application for rezoning of Remainder Erven 47204 and 47214, and Erven 47205, 47206, 47207, 47209 and 47252 Cape Town at Rondebosch from Single Residential Zone 1 to Community Zone 1, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
c. That the application for departures, as set out in Annexure A, for Remainder Erven 47204 and 47214, and Erven 47205, 47206, 47207, 47209 and 47252 Cape Town at Rondebosch, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
Condition 2.3 is corrected as follows:
2.3 Prior to the approval of any building plans for the property, all the individual erven forming the property shall be consolidated to form one erf, and such consolidation shall be registered in the Deeds Registry.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
