RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the application for Consent in terms of Item 55(b) of the Development Management Scheme to permit a freestanding base telecommunication station on Erf 19 Ottery, BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.
b. That the application for a Departures in terms of Item 75(d)(i) and (ii) of the Development Management Scheme to permit a freestanding base telecommunication station to be 0m in lieu of 5m from Street Boundary (Ottery Road) and western common boundary on Erf 19 Ottery, BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT REFUSED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report, except reason 7.1.5 which is deleted
