UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
An administrative penalty in the amount of R 4 000.00 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 971, Camps Bay.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend 5.1.1
The use and unauthorized parking was started without prior approval from Council and has been operational for 2 years.
Add new reason:
The shortfall in parking compromises vehicular circulation and increases on-street parking
Amend reason 5.1.2 to read: The use has not ceased.
