UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for Consent Use in order to permit an institution (retirement facility) on Erf 32683, Strand, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. The application for Permanent Departure to permit vehicles to cross the street sidewalk to access on-site parking, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
Amend Annexure A:
2.1 That the development shall be substantially in conformance with the Drawing Number 001 dated October 2016 and Parking Plan No S01(c) dated April 2019.
Delete 2.3
