UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for rezoning in terms of Section 42(a) of the City of Cape Town, Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 as set out in Annexure A, on Erf 787 Portion 22, Weltervreden Valley, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
b. The application for permanent departures in terms of Section 42(b) of the City of Cape Town, Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 as set out in Annexure A, on Erf 787 Portion 22, Weltervreden Valley, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reason set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add:
7.7 The provision of 51 social housing units is an important contribution to Council’s housing challenge
Amend Annexure A
1.1 To permit the rezoning from agricultural to General Residential 2 substantially in accordance with the site development plan no. 2317/01-02, 03 and 04 dated 23/11/2018 (see Annexure C)
Renumber paragraph 3 to be 3.1 and amend as follows:
3.1 Building plans, substantially in accordance with site development plan, drawing numbers: 2317/01-02, 03 and 04 dated 23/11/2018 (see Annexure C), shall be submitted to the Director: Development Management for approval.
Add new 3.2 as follows:
3.2 Landscaping proposals shall be submitted for approval and implemented to the satisfaction of the Director: Development Management
Delete paragraph 17
Update numbering sequence accordingly.
