RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the application for Consent to permit a freestanding monopole base telecommunication station on Erf 37914 Mitchells Plain BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.
b. That the application for permanent departures to allow for a street boundary building line of 0m in lieu of 5m from both Loganberry Plain and Mulberry Way on Erf 37914 Mitchells Plain BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report except reason 7.1.3 which is amended as follows:
7.1.3. The visual impact of the mast is acceptable within the business and community uses of the immediate area, and the base station is screened by a high boundary wall.
