UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for a consent use in terms of item 42(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in order to permit a place of worship (church) on the erf 6231, 22 Salie Street, Eerste River BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(iii) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 subject to the conditions as set out in the attached Annexure A.
b. The application for permanent departures in terms of Section 42(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in order to permit street setback of 3.0m in lieu of 5.0m, south common boundary setback of 1.5m in lieu of 5.0m, east common boundary setback 0.0m in lieu of 5.0m on erf 6231, 22 Salie Street, Eerste River BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.
Amend Annexure A:
2.9 The Development Charges (DCs) have been determined at R 9 977.23 and is subject to annual escalation up to date of payment. The amount payable will therefore be the amount as calculated at the time that payment is made.
