RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY

That an administrative penalty in the amount of R5 000.00 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 8875 Hout Bay, for the 4m2 extension of the dwelling house and ±40m of planters and retaining walls as per the plans drawn by SKA Architects with drawing numbers 2108.CA03 (Rev AC) and 2108.CA01 (Rev AC), both dated November 2015.

REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report except reason 6.6 which is amended as follows:

6.6. As far as can be ascertained, the owner has not previously contravened this By-Law or any other planning law.
