Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for consolidation in terms of Section 42(f) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 of erven 4284, 4285 and 4286, Eerste River in accordance with plan no S/8989/27 (see Annexure C), BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)i of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015

b. The application for rezoning in terms of Section 42(a) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 of the consolidated erf from single residential zone 1 to general residential subzone 2 to allow for flats BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)iii of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to conditions in the attached Annexure A.

c. The application for departures in terms of Section 42(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 on the consolidated erf as set out in Annexure A, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)i of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT
2.1 That a revised site development plan generally in accordance with drawing number Plan No. 2000 Revision C, dated 29/09/2017 and 3000 Revision C, dated 26/04/2018, (see Annexure B) be submitted to the satisfaction of the Authorized Official.
