RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
That the application for the amendment of condition, condition no 2 of approval in respect of Erf 13910, Bellville to increase the number of children at the ECD facility from 35 to 95 children, BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT REFUSED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report and agreed to add:
3.1.5 The applicant does not address the reason for refusal
3.1.6 The substantial increase in the number of children will render the use to be not policy compliant and undesirable in terms of the prescription of the DMS
NOTE: The MPT would support an application for 60 children.
