RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the Rezoning of Erf 5188, Eversdale from Single Residential 1 to General Residential Subzone 1 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with the attached Annexure C and subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. That the Subdivision of Erf 5188, Eversdale into 4 group housing erven and a private road BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with the attached Annexure C and subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
Application 1.1 is amended as follows:
1.1. Rezoning of the property from SR1 to General Residential Subzone 1: Group Housing for the purposes of 5 properties, i.e. for the purposes of 4 Group housing units and one private road.
As per correspondence forwarded to the MPTNE Panel Condition 2.1 is amended as follows
2.1. The zoning of the subdivided portions will be as follows:
Portion 1 – 3 : General Residential Subzone 1: Group Housing
Portion 4 : General Residential Subzone 1: Group Housing
(private road)
Remainder : General Residential Subzone 1: Group Housing
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report and added an additional reason 7.7 that reads as follows:
7.7 The MPTNE Panel believed that the deviation from the 2000m2, minimum erf size suggested in the Northern District Plan is justified in this instance.
