RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. That the application for Amendment of General Plan No: 10077 through the Closure of Portions of Public Street (Mohan Avenue) in terms of Section 42(l) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 relating to erven: 111213, 111214, 111215, 111216, 111217, 111218, 111219, 111222, 111223, 111224, 111225, 111226, 111227 & 177849, Cape Town at Gatesville, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.
b. That the application for Consolidation in terms of section 42(f) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, of Erven: 111213, 111214, 111215, 111216, 111217, 111218, 111219, 111222, 111223, 111224, 111225, 111226, 111227 & 177849, Gatesville, Cape Town, Cape Town at Gatesville, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.
c. That the application for Rezoning of the abovementioned consolidated erf (created by 8.2 above), in terms of Section 42(a) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, from Single Residential 1 and Transport Zone 2 to Subdivisional Area Overlay Zone to allow Single Residential 2 Zone and Transport Zone 2 (public road) in accordance with subdivision plan no A000/000 Rev No 0 Drawn by M Geretto and dated 14 August 2017, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
d. That the application for Subdivision of the abovementioned consolidated erf, in terms of Section 42 (d) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in accordance with the abovementioned Subdivisional Area Overlay Zone BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, in accordance with subdivision plan no A000/000 Rev No 0 Drawn by M Geretto and dated 14 August 2017, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
That the heading next to 4 be changed from “General” to “Notes”
That the numbering at the top of folio 952 under Water and Sanitation be changed to start with 3.28 and end with 3.31
Note: The Chairperson requested that attention also be given to social challenges faced by this community
