RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY

That the application for rezoning from Single Residential (SR1) to General Residential (GR2) in respect of erf 6286, Kuils River BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, in accordance with the Site Layout Plan no 6286j.pillay dated 3 March 2017 attached as Annexure C, subject to conditions as stipulated in attached Addendum C.

Conditions 2.1.1 and 2.1.4 are amended as follows

2.1.1 That the Site Development Plan be submitted for approval by the Director: Development Management, prior to building plan approval

2.1.4. The block of flats, shall be provided with an adequate centralized refuse room (which comply with the attached standards and guidelines for refuse storage areas). That the refuse room be provided in a position nearest to an access road (public road) and be accessible for the Council’s refuse collection vehicles at all times as this vehicle and/its crew members (Council staff) will not enter onto private property.

Conditions 2.1.9 and 2.1.11 are deleted


REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
