RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY

That an administrative penalty in the amount of R20 000 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 6591 Constantia with regard to the felling, uprooting and destruction of 9 trees on the subject property, as shown on the plan attached as Annexure B to the Departmental report to the Municipal Planning Tribunal, without the written approval of Council in contravention of a subdivision condition.

REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
