Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a. The application for the departures from Item 22(f)(ii)and Item 22(d) in respect of Erf 334, 39 Carstens Street, Tamboerskloof BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law in accordance with attached Annexure A subject to the condition in Annexure A and shown on Annexure C.

b. The application for City’s approval from Item 89(c) of the Development Management Scheme in respect of Erf 334, 39 Carstens Street, Tamboerskloof BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance to attached Annexure A subject to the condition in Annexure A and shown on Annexure C.

c. The application for City’s approval from Item 162 of the Development Management Scheme in respect of Erf 334, 39 Carstens Street, Tamboerskloof BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b)(i) of the Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in accordance to attached Annexure A subject to the condition in Annexure A and shown on Annexure C.

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report.

Amend conditions as follows:
4.1 A development contribution of R139.87 is payable. Plans to be referred to Transport & Urban Development Authority prior to final building plan approval.
