RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. The application for consent to permit a freestanding base telecommunication station on Erf 9755, Kraaifontein, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with the site layout plan attached as Annexure C and subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
b. The application for permanent departure to permit the encroachment of the 5.0m street and common building lines to accommodate the proposed freestanding base telecommunication station on Erf 9755, Kraaifontein, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with the site layout plan attached as Annexure C and subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL IMPOSED IN TERMS OF SECTION 100(1) OF THE BYLAW RELATING TO THE CONSENT AND DEPARTURE APPROVAL
Condition 2.1 is amended as follows:
2.1 The telecommunication infrastructure and associated equipment shall be in accordance with the site layout plan attached as Annexure C, provided that the equipment containers are placed along the side wall of the existing building.
REASONS FOR DECISIONS:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
