RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY

That the application for the rezoning of erf 11114, 17 Columbus Road, Van der Stel, Strand, from Single Residential Zone 1 to Utility Zone, for the erection of a freestanding base telecommunication station, comprising of a 25m high monopole mast and ancillary equipment containers, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015 in accordance with Plan No. VDS1 REV.C (Sheet 1-3), dated 23/08/2016, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A hereto.


CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL IMPOSED IN TERMS OF SECTION 100 OF THE BYLAW

Condition 2.1.2 is amended as follows:

2.1.2 That the entire property be suitably fenced with palisade or any other visually permeable fencing.

Condition 3.1 and the administrative note is deleted

REASONS FOR DECISION:

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
