RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY
a. The application for consent to erect a freestanding base telecommunication station, comprising of a 25m high mast and equipment containers on Erf 558, corner of Somerlust and Avondrus Streets, Gordon’s Bay BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.
b. That the application for an amendment of the approved site development plan for the subject property, to allow for the erection of the above-mentioned freestanding base telecommunication station on Erf 558, corner of Somerlust and Avondrus Streets, Gordon’s Bay BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT REFUSED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report.
