Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED:

a. That the application for the rezoning of Erf 4794, Brackenfell to Subdivisional Area Overlay Zone for the purposes of General Residential Subzone 2 (Group Housing), BE REFFERED BACK due to a lack of relevant information to make an informed decision.

b. That the application for deletion of restrictive conditions of title, namely Conditions C.3., C.6.(a), C.6.(b) and C.6.(d) contained in Title Deed T43289/90, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.


REASONS FOR DECISION:

1. The proposal is consistent with planning policy i.e. the Northern District Plan, Densification Policy, Economic Growth Strategy, Social Development Strategy and IDP.
2. Deletion of the conditions of title is consistent with the DMS and planning policy and is considered to be in the public interest.
