Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a) The application for the amendment of conditions of approval, as set out in annexure A, for remainder erf 31990 Cape Town at Rosebank, BE APPROVED in terms of section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to additional conditions as set out in Annexure A.

b) The departures, as set out in Annexure A, for remainder erf 31990 Cape Town at Rosebank, BE APPROVED in terms of section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

c) Council’s approval in terms of Item 162(1) of the Development Management Scheme to permit building work in the Mowbray-Rosebank Heritage Protection Overlay Zone on remainder erf 31990 Cape Town at Rosebank, BE APPROVED in terms of section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.

The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report

Additions to reasons for decision:
6. The proposal complies with the criteria for desirability in Section 99 of the By-Law
7. That this development is in line with Council’s Transport Orientated Development Strategy Framework
