UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED
a) That the application for Permanent Departures in respect of Erf 182, Goodwood, to permit a double garage to be 1.5m from Sluysken Street boundary line in lieu of 5.0m BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
b) That the application for Permanent Departures in respect of Erf 182, Goodwood, to permit verandas and a first floor balcony to be 0.0m and 1.5m respectively from the common boundary in lieu of 3.0m BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015.
c) That the application for Permanent Departures in respect of Erf 182, Goodwood, to permit a braai and first floor second dwelling to be 1.5m from the common boundary in lieu of 3.0m BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law 2015, subject to the following condition: “That no windows except for the bathroom window may be placed on the north elevation in the proposed second dwelling, All windows opening should be orientated to the south elevation of the second dwelling.”
d) That the application for the removal of Clause B(b), (c) and (d) of title deed T83381/2005, on Erf 182, Goodwood, BE APPROVED in terms of section 98(b)(i) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planners’ report.
