Resolution details

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

a) The subdivision of erf 355. Dordrecht Road, Milnerton, into portions A and B, as per annexure D, IS APPROVED in terms of section 98(b)(iii) of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law (2015), subject to the conditions enumerated in annexure A.

CONDITIONS TO BE DELETED
Environmental Resource Management: Condition 5 and 6 (point numbering to be updated)

REASONS FOR DECISION:

1. The proposal is aligned with policy directive 22 of the Cape Town Spatial
Development Framework as explained in paragraph 6.2.1 of this report.
2. The proposed subdivision is consistent with the Blaauwberg District Plan
insofar as it is located close to public transport, social facilities, employment opportunities and can be supported by existing infrastructure capacity.
3. The proposed subdivision is compliant with the Densification Policy
statements 1, 2, and 5 as explained in paragraph 6.4.1 of the Departmental report.
4. The integrity of the suburb will not be compromised as the intended use of
the proposed subdivided portions will remain residential in nature.
