RESOLVED that,
Cllr Peck stated that his Grant-In-Aid was approved at the last Council meeting and has been paid out but is not reflecting on the document. He mentioned that the Riesling Park – Cycle Track money was rolled over due to certain things that could not be put in place with the purchase order and that money plus the little bit from the previous year that was left over will all be collected together and the project will be tackled within this financial year.
Cllr Punt mentioned that percentage talks for itself it is in total 97.5% spent in Ward 83. However, it is a 99.1% on capital projects spent and has a few of them and on operational 93.7 spent. It is always difficult on the operational side due to all the projects you ran and where quotes has to be submitted. Cllr Punt indicated that the departments on capital expenditure is making a difference with the capital spending and would like to thank them. Cllr Punt is very proud the way the departments is spending the capital budgets that is allocated with the projects, congratulations on the well spending in ward 83.
Cllr McFarlane is happy with the spending in his ward.
Cllr Cerfontein has a 99%spent, thank you to line departments and officials for the hard work and dedication and stated that it was money well spent.
Cllr Stacey is happy with his spending in his ward and has a saving of R131.
