The Subcouncil Chairperson recommended the following strategy for C3’s.
The Subcouncil needs to identify all C3’s occurring repeatedly in the wards. Identify One (1) Issue monthly per ward such as illegal dumping, inform the Cllrs in writing, conduct site visits inviting the relevant officials.
Cllr Nqavashe requested for this to be done fortnightly. The Subcouncil Chairperson proposed the strategy of involving School principals to create awareness on illegal dumping and get the learners to be involved in cleaning campaign.
Ald Jacobs proposed for the adoption of the resolution seconded by Cllr Cassiem.
There was unanimous agreement with the resolution.
