It is recommended by Subcouncil 2 that Erf 1250, Kraaifontein situated at corner Botfontein and Boesak Street, Wallacedene, in extent of 1 124m and as indicated as ABCDEF on plan 13001008 and attached as Annexure A, be reserved for the Enterprise and Investment Department (Area Economic Development North Branch) within the Economic Growth Directorate, subject to the following conditions.

The subject property shall be utilised to establish a formal container market;

The Enterprise and Investment Department takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with any applicable legislation related to the utilisation of the property;

That cognisance be taken of the internal branch comments listed under paragraph 9 below;

The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management of the land and structures erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance as is applicable; and
-
That all costs related to the above be provided for the Enterprise and Investment Department.
