SUBCOUNCIL 18: MATTERS OUTSTANDING
Mr F Monk reported on the following:
18SUB8/5/2021: MOTION: CAVALLA DORP INFORMAL SETTLEMENT, STEENBERG ESTABLISHMENT OF A TEMPORARY RELOCATION AREA (TRA) WITH RE-BLOCKING AND SERVICING WITH ELECTRIFICATION (PROPOSED SITES ERVEN 81720 AND 81721)
Cavalla Dorp the matter is ongoing.
Cllr M Petersen stated that she has not received any feedback on the matter.
The Chairperson requested that a meeting be arranged with the officials as the Subcouncil is not clear what exactly will happen to the space and clarity is required.
The community seems to have their own plan to what will happen to the space and want to dictate as to what should happen.
RESOLVED
The Subcouncil to arrange a meeting with Ms Martin, Head of the Land Claims, the consultant that does the EIA and Town Planners, to have clarity on the matter.
