UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for rezoning of erf 13317 Milnerton from Single Residential 1 (SR1): Conventional Housing to General Residential 3 (GR3) for a boarding house to be used as a home for the aged, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 (as amended), subject to the conditions set out in Annexure A.
b. The application for the permanent departure involving the common building lines and the coverage in respect of erf 13317 Milnerton BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 (as amended).
c. The application for the approval of the site development plan in respect of erf 13317 Milnerton BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 (as amended).
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT partially APPROVED and partially REFUSED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report

Amend condition 3.1 to read as follows:
3.1 The use is limited to a home for the aged in the form of a 26-room boarding house and a maximum of 30 residents
