UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
The application for amendment of condition of approval 2.1 contained in CoCT Decision letter dated 18/09/2021 to obtain approval for the amended Site Development Plan to permit the proposed alterations and additions on Erf 49, Faure, BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reason set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to correct reason 7.1.2 as follows:
7.1.2 The proposal is not for increased production, but mainly for increased storage in order to have stock for a flexible client need due to seasonality of agricultural produce.
Delete reason 7.1.3
Amend Annexure A:
Correct heading in paragraph 2 on page 562 to be ‘DEPARTMENT’
Amend condition 1.1 to read as follows:
1.1 Amendment of condition of approval 2.1 contained in CoCT Decision letter dated 18/09/2021 to obtain approval for the amended Site Development Plan to permit the proposed alterations and additions to the existing corrugated board factory and offices located on Erf 49, Faure.
Replace old condition 2.1 with new condition 2.1 as follows:
2.1 That the development shall be undertaken substantially in accordance with Drawing number 2101-001 Rev B dated 19/05/2022
Amend condition 2.31 as follows:
2.31 That the Developer/Owner, prior to building plan approval, shall submit a noise management plan, to address any current nuisance and to prevent future noise nuisance, to the satisfaction of the authorized official. The relevant department within Council shall undertake to do regular inspections to ensure effective implementation of the noise management plan
