UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:

An administrative penalty in the amount of R 4 949.00 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 1821 Simon’s Town with regard to the garage on the property as per the plan drawn by Crowsen Creations with project number Jackson dated 2016-12-22.


REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend reason 5 as follows:

It is difficult to believe that the owner did not realise that she could not replace a single garage with a double garage without building plans or planning approval.
