MPTNE15/02/21 WARD 01: APPLICATION FOR CONSENT USE AND PERMANENT DEPARTURE IN TERMS OF THE MUNICIPAL PLANNING BY-LAW, 2015: ERF 1258, PAROW, 3 OLYF AVENUE, SONNENDAL
After some discussion the four MPTNE panel members present approved the application
RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that:

a. The application for consent use in respect of erf 1258, Parow, to allow for the operation of an institution / assisted living facility BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, in accordance with the Site Layout Plan attached as Annexure C, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

b. The application for permanent departure in respect of erf 1258, Parow, for a second carriage way crossing BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, in accordance with the Site Layout Plan attached as Annexure C, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.

Condition 2.1.2 is deleted
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons in the Planner’s report except reason 7.1.5 which is amended and 7.1.8 is deleted

7.1.5 The proposed assisted living facility is unlikely to generate any additional traffic that may have an adverse impact on the surrounding residential area.
