UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. An administrative penalty in the amount of R 650.00 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 15337, Milnerton, for the unlawful shipping container and such penalty be approved in terms of Section 98(b) of the said By-Law.
b. An administrative penalty in the amount of R 650.00 BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 15337, Milnerton, for the unlawful carport and such penalty be approved in terms of Section 98(b) of the said By-Law.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to amend reason 6.2 as follows:
The unlawful structures have a history of approximately 23 months.
