Saunders' Rocks BeachSaunders' Rocks Beach
The last of the Sea Point beaches, closest to Bantry Bay, is Saunders’ Rocks Beach. It has less space for sunbathers because it is dotted with outcrops of rock, but is popular with swimmers and families due to the small tidal pool. The pool is set in a magical position between mammoth granite boulders. There are also natural pools and gullies on the rocky shore. Although this beach is considered safe for swimming, it is recommended that beach goers only swim where and when a lifeguard is on duty.
GP0|#4f97464e-7b95-401b-a7de-5608e592ff97;L0|#04f97464e-7b95-401b-a7de-5608e592ff97|Safe swimming;GTSet|#153637b8-411d-4bf7-8214-7237f5d775f0
Booking queries

Telephone:
021 400 3647 / 021 400 3823

Please see the Recreation and Parks Tariffs Booklet in the document download section below for more information about booking a facility.

General enquiries

Telephone:
021 439 4332

District office

Telephone:
021 444 0421
GP0|#6fb82646-b411-48e6-b0d4-52898add42c8;L0|#06fb82646-b411-48e6-b0d4-52898add42c8|Parking;GTSet|#4be4596d-cdfe-41f7-a569-9d9c4e16c716;GP0|#5ae14e6f-bd9f-4386-99c8-08b378f44c98;L0|#05ae14e6f-bd9f-4386-99c8-08b378f44c98|Tidal pool;GP0|#b1b8ebb5-98fd-44d8-8d5f-fc9433daab5e;L0|#0b1b8ebb5-98fd-44d8-8d5f-fc9433daab5e|Toilets

Beach Road, Sea Point
