<a href="https://myciti.org.za/" target="_blank">MyCiTi bus service<i class="icon link-external"></i></a> and the
<a href="https://www.myciti.org.za/en/routes-stops/dial-a-ride" target="_blank">Dial-a-Ride service<i class="icon link-external"></i></a> for people with special needs. Our
<a href="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/documentcentre/Documents/Forms%2c%20notices%2c%20tariffs%20and%20lists/Park-and-Ride_Stations_and_Street_Names_List.pdf" target="_blank">Park-and-Ride facilities </a>connect private transport users to public transport. In addition, we also manage fare collection systems, management systems and public transport facilities, as well as industry transition matters and public transport enforcement.</p><h4>Roads Infrastructure Management</h4><p>Roads Infrastructure Management is responsible for managing and maintaining the
<a href="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/documentcentre/Documents/Procedures%2c%20guidelines%20and%20regulations/Road_Network_Guide.pdf" target="_blank">road network</a>, including road resurfacing and maintenance of the
<a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/Family%20and%20home/transport-and-vehicles/road-safety/our-stormwater-system">stormwater system</a>, informal road networks, public transport and non-motorised transport networks, street furniture within the road reserve and an accurate asset inventory.<br></p><h4>Transport Infrastructure Implementation<br></h4><p>We implement all new construction and capital investment in
<a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/Work%20and%20business/Transport-and-vehicles/Public-transport-services">public transport</a>, non-motorised transport including
<a href="https://www.capetown.gov.za/Work%20and%20business/Transport-and-vehicles/Cycling-and-walking-in-Cape-Town">walking and cycling</a>, and new roads infrastructure.<br></p><h4>Transport Planning and Network Management<br></h4><ul><li>We plan and manage the integrated transport network, including the development of the
<a href="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/documentcentre/Documents/City%20strategies%2c%20plans%20and%20frameworks/CITP_2023-2028.pdf" target="_blank">Comprehensive Integrated Transport Plan (CITP)</a> and long-term strategic planning. </li><li>We plan systems and design networks, with a focus on the
<a href="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/documentcentre/Documents/City%20strategies%2c%20plans%20and%20frameworks/Integrated_Public_Transport_Network_Plan.pdf">Integrated Public Transport Network (IPTN)</a>, regulating the movement of traffic on the
<a href="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/documentcentre/Documents/Procedures%2c%20guidelines%20and%20regulations/Road_Network_Guide.pdf" target="_blank">road network</a>, improving the
<a href="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/documentcentre/Documents/City%20strategies%2c%20plans%20and%20frameworks/City_of_Cape_Town_Road_Safety_Strategy.pdf" target="_blank">safety for all road users </a>and
<a href="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/documentcentre/Documents/Bylaws%20and%20policies/Parking%20Policy%20for%20the%20City%20of%20Cape%20Town%20-%20%28Policy%20number%2017913%29%20approved%20on%2024%20April%202014.pdf" target="_blank">on-street parking</a>. </li><li>We implement
