You can report drunk or reckless driving to the City's Traffic Services or to the National Transport Call Centre.

How to report

To report drunk or reckless driving, you can contact the City’s Law Enforcement, Traffic and Coordination Department by calling 021 480 7700. You can also contact the National Traffic Call Centre on 086 140 0800.

When reporting the incident, please make sure you include:

  • the location where the traffic violation happened
  • as much detail as possible about the vehicle concerned
  • the date and time of the incident
