The City offers a number of ways to pay rent if you live in rental housing to make paying rent easier for you. You can select any one of the methods detailed below.
Pay your rent for City housing through City paypoints
You can pay your rent at a number of City paypoints throughout Cape Town:

Housing offices.
- Online:
www.Easypay.co.za or
www.powertime.co.za
- EFTs: Select the City as a bank-listed beneficiary. Use only your nine-digit municipal account number as reference
- Shoprite, Checkers, USave, Pick n Pay, PEP, Ackermans, Lewis, Top It Up, Woolworths and selected Spar stores
- ATM: contact your bank to add the City as an ATM beneficiary
- TraceOnline paypoints
Please bring along your original ID document as well as proof of address in order to complete the payment.
