Comment on the amendment of an existing contract relating to security services at various City facilities and ad hoc sites

<h2 class="sectHeading">About</h2><p>Notice is hereby given in term of section 116(3) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003 (MFMA) that the City of Cape Town (“the City”) intends to amend the contract listed in the table below:</p><table style="width:625px;height:250px;"><thead><tr><th style="width:233px;">Tender number and description</th><th style="width:271px;">Reason for amendment</th><th colspan="1" style="width:271px;">Current expiry date</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td style="width:233px;"> <strong>Tender 213S/2020/21: </strong>Provision of security services at various Council facilities/Ad hoc sites</td><td style="width:271px;">To amend the Contract period for a period of twenty-four (24) months on a month-to-month basis, from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2028, or until the replacement tender is implemented, whichever occurs first.
