Comment on the proposed new MyCiTi bus stops in Table View<span> <h2 class="sectHeading">About</h2></span> <p> MyCiTi is proposing a number of new bus stops in the Table View area as part of efforts to improve access to MyCiTi services along existing routes, including:</p><ul><li>Four new stops to link with the Rivergate area via route 214. </li><li>Five new stops along a reconfigured 216 route to link passengers from Wood station via the Parklands North area to Table Bay Mall. This planned change means that the existing Humewood, Devonshire, Blaauwberg Hospital, Waterville and Nantucket stops will no longer serve route 216.</li></ul><p>See details of the proposed stops below: <br></p> <span> <div class="mobile-scroll"><table style="width:511px;"><thead><tr><th>Route<br></th><th>Proposed stop<br></th><th>Location<br></th><th colspan="1">Reference<br></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>214<br></td><td>Armstrong</td><td>Intersection of Armstrong Drive and Cosmonaut Street</td><td colspan="1">MC024/24<br></td></tr><tr><td rowspan="1">214<br></td><td rowspan="1">Rivergate Primary<br></td><td rowspan="1">Intersection of Armstrong Drive and Saxophone Street<br></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1">MC025/24<br></td></tr><tr><td rowspan="1">214<br></td><td rowspan="1">Enterprise<br></td><td rowspan="1">Intersection of Rivergate Drive and Enterprise Way<br></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1">MC026/24<br></td></tr><tr><td rowspan="1">214<br></td><td rowspan="1">Cosmonaut<br></td><td rowspan="1">Intersection of Cosmonaut Street and Rivergate Drive<br></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1">MC027/24<br></td></tr><tr><td rowspan="1">216<br></td><td rowspan="1">Parklands Secondary<br></td><td rowspan="1">At the traffic circle at Wood Drive and College Avenue<br></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1">MC028/24<br></td></tr><tr><td rowspan="1">216<br></td><td rowspan="1">Churchill<br></td><td rowspan="1">At the traffic circle at Wood Drive and Tryall Road<br></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1">MC029/24<br></td></tr><tr><td rowspan="1">216<br></td><td rowspan="1">Deerhurst<br></td><td rowspan="1">Intersection of Berkshire Boulevard and Deerhurst Drive<br></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1">MC030/24<br></td></tr><tr><td rowspan="1">216<br></td><td rowspan="1">Berkshire West<br></td><td rowspan="1">Opposite Table Bay Mall<br></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1">MC031/24<br></td></tr><tr><td rowspan="1">216<br></td><td rowspan="1">Abbas<br></td><td rowspan="1">Intersection of Berkshire Boulevard and Wood Drive<br></td><td colspan="1" rowspan="1">MC032/24<br></td></tr></tbody></table></div></span> <p>Visit the <a href="https://myciti.org.za/en/ppp/ppp-table-view-august-2024" target="_blank">MyCiTi website<i class="icon link-external"></i></a> for precise locations of the proposed MyCiTi stop. </p><p>In terms of Section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, you can submit comments to the municipality in respect of the proposed new MyCiTi bus stop locations. </p><p>Objections will be considered before a final decision is reached. </p><h2 class="sectHeading">Comment period</h2><p>Submit your comments and objections from <strong>23 August - 23 September 2024</strong>.</p><h2 class="sectHeading">Submit your comment</h2><p>You may submit your comments and objections via the following channels: </p><p> <strong>Online</strong><br><a href="https://web1.capetown.gov.za/web1/websitefeedback/?id=bf049781-16a7-4cc4-8ebf-3408ec3ab6b6" target="_blank">Submit your comments online</a>. </p><p> <strong>Delivery</strong><br>Deliver your comments by hand to:<br></p><p> <em>Subcouncil 3 office <br>Milnerton Municipal Building <br>First floor Royal Ascot <br>Bridal Way <br>Milnerton <br>7441</em> <br></p><p><strong>Remember to quote the unique reference number for the stop that you want to object to.</strong><br></p> <span> <div class="notification with-heading dark-copy pink bg-light-grey"><div class="graphic with-border"> <i class="info note"></i> </div><div class="desc"><h4>Please note</h4><p> Our Public Participation Unit will assist you if you would like to submit comments but have a disability, or are unable to read or write.
