Comment on the proposed closure of public open space in Mountview<span> <h2 class="sectHeading">​​​​​​​​​​About</h2></span> <p>We have received various complaints about crime and anti-social behaviour associated with the public open space located next to Starling Primary School, between Belmore Avenue and Turfhall Road in Mountview.</p><p>The Mountview Starling Civic Association also requested that we close the public open space due to burglaries, vandalism, erection of illegal structures and illegal dumping taking place there. </p><p>The following proposals have been prepared for comment from interested and immediately affected parties: </p><p> <strong>Proposal 1: </strong>The public open space be closed and options for alternative usage be submitted.
