<h2 class="sectHeading">About<br></h2></span>
<p>The area directly surrounding the corridor is experiencing an increase in development. Planning and design of this section of Kruis Road is required in order to:</p><ul><li>facilitate bulk road infrastructure upgrades in the area; and </li><li>mitigate the impact of future traffic on the municipal road network </li></ul><h4>The planning and design includes:<br></h4><ul><li>Upgrading Kruis Road to a dual carriageway road, from Bottelary Road to Ronelle Street, including a roundabout at Ronelle Street intersection. </li><li>Upgrading of the Bottelary Road approaches to the intersection of Kruis and Bottelary Roads to its dualled cross section.</li><li>Relocating and upgrading of the traffic signals at Bottelary Road intersection to match the dual carriageways of Kruis Road. </li><li>Adding of active and public transport facilities.<br></li></ul>
