Comment on the draft Cape Town Central Business District (CBD) Local Spatial Development Framework (LSDF)Comment on the draft Cape Town Central Business District (CBD) Local Spatial Development Framework (LSDF)<img alt="" src="https://resource.capetown.gov.za/cityassets/PublishingImages/City%20Connect%20Header%20Image.jpg" style="BORDER:0px solid;" /><div class="ExternalClass6723C94ED5D64087925EF76D8AA232C3"><p>Our Urban Planning and Design Department is in the process of developing a LSDF for the Cape Town Central Business District (CBD), and we want your input. <br></p></div><span> <h2 class="sectHeading">​​​​​​​​​​​​About​​​​​​​</h2></span> <p>We have prepared a draft LSDF for Cape Town Central Business District (CBD), informed by the key inputs we received during the 2023 public participation process. </p><p> The LSDF will help shape the future spatial planning and development of Cape Town’s economic heartland and creates a framework for private and public sectors to work together towards the balanced optimisation of the opportunities in the CBD. </p><p>This draft of the LSDF includes the first draft of development guidelines, based on a detailed understanding of contextual opportunities and constraints.
