<h2 class="sectHeading">About</h2></span>
<p>Following traffic analysis and observations at the site, we are proposing a full road closure of Grosvenor Road at Prince George Drive to improve traffic safety in the area. </p><p>The closure will involve permanently removing the existing left in, left out connection with the southbound carriageway of Prince George Drive (M5), towards Muizenberg; and will likely impact Prince George Drive/Cannon Island Way intersection, south of the Grosvenor Road intersection.</p><h4>Road closures</h4><p>To ensure we meet the access management standards along the functional class of each road, certain intersections in the road schemes require geometric changes. </p><p> These changes include:</p><ul><li>restricting certain movements (partial closure), and </li><li> closing off the connection of one road to another (full closure).</li></ul><p>In terms of Section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, Section 4 of the City of Cape Town:
